PhD Degree Program in Molecular Sciences - Pharmaceutical Sciences curriculum

The PhD Course in Molecular Sciences (Corso di Dottorato in Scienze Molecolari – CDSM) offers the highest level of formation in the field of molecular sciences at the University of Padova. The Graduate Course has a formal agreement with the Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technology of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR).

The Molecular Science Graduate Program at the University of Padova (Italy) grew out of an initiative of the Department of Chemical Sciences and of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences, it is a structured doctoral program in the rather broad area of molecular research.

Available fellowships – 2019

CDSM has two curricula: Chemical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences. All fellowships are divided amongst the two curricula and admission occurs through separate procedures.

The available fellowships for each curriculum can be found following these links:

• Curriculum Chemical Sciences

• Curriculum Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program has the mission to prepare new young generation of scientists with a solid background in a broad spectrum of disciplines dealing with the chemical, biological, pharmacological and technological aspects of drugs, bioactive compounds and toxic substances by providing a chemical foundation for understanding the complexity of their mechanisms of action at an atomic level.

Our Graduate Program offers interdisciplinary seminars, and additional training in presentation seminars and workshops is provided as part of the vocational training, thus preparing doctoral candidates for their later work in international and multidisciplinary environments.
