  1. Lectures in classroom with experts in radiopharmaceuticals on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th and Wednesday morning 26th September 2018 @ University of Padova Campus in Bressanone (BZ), Italy.
  2. Lectures and presentations and social interactions with world-renowned experts @ TERACHEM2018

Number of students: 28 PhD students, PostDocs or young investigators (n. 6 PhD students from the Courses in i) Pharmacological Sciences, ii) Molecular Sciences and iii) Clinical and Experimental Oncology and Immunology, University of Padova).

Course objectives
The main objective of this International Summer School is to acquaint the students with how to perform non-clinical studies for new radiopharmaceutical development and to provide a road map for the preparation and preclinical evaluation and validation of new targeted radiopharmaceuticals.

Prerequisites: Graduates from relevant fields of Life Sciences, such as Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy and Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine are eligible to join the summer school.

Selection criteria: CV, motivation letter, geographical balance and gender balance.

Course format: Classroom lectures and exercise @ University of Padova Campus in Bressanone (BZ), Italy on September 24-26, 2018 and then symposium lectures, oral and poster presentation @ Terachem 2018, on September 26-29, 2018.

Evaluation module: Evaluation will be based on attendance (40%), participation, assignments (40%), and final report (20%).

Attendance: This is a must in order to receive full credit of the course.

Final report: The students will submit a final report at the end of the Summer School during Saturday afternoon on September 29, 2018 at the end of Terachem 2018.

Certificate of attendance: University of Padova and SRS (with logos).
